Karri forests are unique to the south-west of Western Australia. These beautiful trees, Eucalyptus diversicolor, are one of the tallest hardwood trees in the world. Pemberton, Northcliffe and Walpole are the main growth areas of karri forest. Karri can also grow as far west as Augusta- Margaret River and east as far as the Porongurup Range.
