Canning River Collection

Canning River Photographs documenting environmental and man-made changes

The Canning River Collection is one of my long-term photographic projects. I am following environmental and man-made changes along the Canning River Regional Park, wetlands and surrounding woodlands. My observations are evolving over the decades. This builds on my solo photographic exhibitions and my book publications.

The Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation are the Traditional Owners and Custodians of these lands and rivers of the Swan Coastal Plain. The indigenous name for the Canning River is Djarlgarro Beelier, and they retain a strong history with these rivers and lands.
